Public spaces work best when they work together as an integrated, people-friendly network — when people can move safely and easily through and between them.

The Danforth-Main Laneway Connection project will make improvements to three laneways along Danforth East — running to the north and south of Main Street Station and to the south of Coleman Park — to increase around-the-clock safety, improve visibility and navigability, and create permeable and people-friendly edges with the neighbouring walkways and park.
