In 2018, we collaborated with residents, businesses, and organizations in the St. Lawrence neighbourhood to develop a master plan for revitalizing Nicholson Lane. Our goal was to transform the lane from a utilitarian space into a beautiful, safe, and inviting area for community and service use. The plan included infrastructure for community-led activities, multi-modal safety and traffic management measures, art by local artists, pedestrian-friendly lighting for safety and character, and green elements that soften the space and connect with existing programs at the adjacent St. Lawrence Community Recreation Centre.
