The Laneway Project is gearing up for an exciting 2025, and we’re looking for passionate, community-minded volunteers to help make it a success. We’re gathering a dynamic team to support our mission of creating vibrant, inclusive, climate-resilient laneways. We’re seeking volunteers to help in these key areas:

Community Engagement: Supporting workshops, community events, and door-to-door canvassing

Digital Marketing: Supporting social media content creation, blog and newsletter writing

Laneway Revitalization Toolkit & Workshop Development: Supporting the design and development of resources to guide revitalization efforts

Laneway Build Support – Supporting with hands-on help with physical laneway improvements (planting, painting, installations, etc.).

We’re looking for folks who are passionate about:

• Urban design and planning 

• Inclusive city building 

• Placemaking and community connection 

• Environmental justice
